Schedule Builder
Schedule Builder helps your school build its timetable: it checks the one you have for clashes, solves new drafts beside it under rules you can read, and places students into the classes they chose. Nothing reaches a teacher or a student until you commit it.

See every problem in the timetable as it stands: a teacher in two places at once, a class with no teacher or no periods, a room with more students than seats. Each one links to the page that fixes it.
Mark when teachers and rooms are unavailable, cap each teacher’s load, and say what each course needs. One screen lists every rule the builder applies, and whether it must hold or only costs something to break.
Solve a draft without touching the live timetable, read why anything could not be placed, and move classes on the board. Commit it when it is right, put it back with one click if it is not, and the teachers whose lessons change are told in their own language.
Sign up, then add your teachers and your students on the People page, or send them a join link.
Your school arrives with a demo timetable already built, including an elective period where students’ ranked choices have been placed. Check its health and print its maps.
Remove the demo in the Set up wizard, set your periods and day pattern, add your courses, classes, teachers and rooms, then solve a draft and commit it.
Schedule Builder is free on its own, with no card, for up to 30 people. Each app you add after it is $25 (NZD) a month, and each person beyond those 30 people is $2 (NZD) a month.
Only your administrators. Your staff can read the health check, the drafts and the maps, and students see only their own course choices page.
No. You can start from nothing and set out your periods, courses, classes, teachers and rooms here. A timetable you already have is read as it stands, and a new draft starts from it. Keeping classes in step with your student information system comes with the whole of MyTime.
Yes. Put courses on offer and open a choice window, and students pick theirs, in order, from their own page; staff can enter or correct a student’s picks. Loading then places every student into a class of each course they asked for, shown in full before anything is written.
Yes. Add another app, such as forming balanced classes for next year, or the whole of MyTime, and keep everything you already have.
