How it works

1. Set up your classroom

   Sign up, then add your students on the People page or give them a join code.

2. Collect the work

   Add work to each student’s portfolio, and let students add their own for you to approve.

3. Share it

   Turn on the weekly email for families, or print a student’s portfolio for a conference.

What it costs

Start on the free plan, with no card. A subscription to Portfolio is NZ$25 a month for your classroom.

Questions people ask

Do my students need accounts?

Each student has an account in your classroom. Add them on the People page, or give them a join code so they can sign in and add their own work.

Who can see a portfolio?

You and the student. Families see it through a private link or the weekly email, and nobody else does unless you publish portfolios in your settings.

Can I print a portfolio?

Yes. Open a printable version of any student’s portfolio, ready for a conference or the end of the year.

Can I add more later?

Yes. Add another app, such as reports for your class, or the whole of MyTime when your school joins, and keep everything you already have.
