What it does

Families book through their own link

Each family is emailed a link that is theirs alone. They see every teacher’s free times, book, change or cancel, and get their times by email in their own language.

No double bookings

Two families can never hold the same time: once one books it, everyone else sees it as taken, and nobody sees who took it.

Set up from a list

Pick the teachers taking part, set the sessions, appointment length and rooms, and paste your families from a spreadsheet: family name, email and child’s name.

How it works

  1. Set up your school

Sign up, then add your teachers on the People page or send them a join link.

  2. Plan the evening

Create an evening, pick its teachers, set its times and rooms, and paste in your families.

  3. Send the links

Send each family its link. Bookings land on each teacher’s calendar, and families are reminded the day before.

What it costs

Start on the free plan, with no card. A subscription to Parent Evenings is NZ$25 a month for your school.

Questions people ask

Do families need an account?

No. Each family books through the link emailed to it. The link shows only that family’s own times, works until the evening ends, and you can revoke it or send a new one at any time.

Do we need our timetable or our classes?

No. You pick the teachers yourself and paste your families from a list. Evenings drawn from your classes and timetable come with the whole of MyTime.

Do families count towards our plan?

No. The families on an evening’s list are contacts, not members: pasting them adds nobody to your plan, however many there are.

Can we add more later?

Yes. Add another app, such as one-to-one meetings with families, or the whole of MyTime, and keep everything you already have.
