Curriculum

Your curriculum, from learning outcomes to the units that teach them

Curriculum keeps your school’s curriculum in one place: the learning outcomes you teach, the departments and courses that teach them, and each course’s units, week by week. A coverage page shows which outcomes have been planned and assessed, and which have not.

What it does

Learning outcomes, ready to use

Install a ready-made set of learning outcomes, paste your own framework from a spreadsheet, or type a short list in by hand. Each outcome sits at a level and carries a code, and you can lock the codes that have gone into print.

Units placed in the year

Each course’s units are placed in the school year by week, with the learning outcomes they cover and the assessments set in them. See a course week by week or on a timeline, and copy a unit from another course.

Coverage you can check

For every course, see which learning outcomes are planned in a unit, which are on an assessment, and which are planned but never assessed. Strand maps lay out each strand’s outcomes level by level.

How it works

  1. Set up your school

Sign up, then add your teachers on the People page, or send them a join link.

  2. Lay out your curriculum

Add your departments, give each one the strands it teaches, and install or import the learning outcomes for each strand.

  3. Plan the units

Add a course to each department, add its units week by week, and choose the learning outcomes each unit covers.

What it costs

Curriculum is free on its own, with no card, for up to 30 people. Each app you add after it is $25 (NZD) a month, and each person beyond those 30 people is $2 (NZD) a month.

Questions people ask

Who can change our curriculum?

Your administrators set up its structure: levels, strands and departments. Your teachers add courses, plan their units and set assessments. Whether students and families may browse the curriculum is your school’s choice.

Do we need our timetable or our classes?

No. Courses and units stand on their own, placed on your school year’s calendar. Linking each course to the classes that teach it, and following assessments through to marks and reports, come with the whole of MyTime.

Do we have to type in our learning outcomes?

No. Install a ready-made set, or paste your own framework from a spreadsheet. Installing a set again picks up its updates and leaves your own edits alone.

Can we add more later?

Yes. Add another app, such as a timetable built from your courses, classes and rooms, or the whole of MyTime, and keep everything you already have.
